Last but not least, here's a blurb about the Bite of Eastgate, coming up on October 18th. Visit the PTA website for more information.

This is the 4th annual event to celebrate Eastgate’s wonderfully diverse community!  It will be a potluck-type feast, and we invite YOU to provide food from your families culture(s)!  If your family doesn't have any cultural ties, bring anything you family loves to eat - Mom's mac-n-cheese? Grandma's cookies? Bring them! Paper goods and utensils will be provided by the Eastgate PTA.  Even without a donation at all, ALL families are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Along with amazing food from around the world, we will have activity stations for the kids!  If your family can donate a cultural activity for the evening or a dish to share, please indicate on the RSVP.  Some activity ideas include: games, traditional clothes/hats to try on, books in other languages, flag coloring pages, crafts, traditional dance, origami/paper folding, Chinese character writing.

It's a short and full week! As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns. Have a great week.
